We Are Searching For An Accounts Assistant

Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software or databases then filing hard copies

Control transport / custom invoices

Verifying the accuracy of transport accounts and alerting the accountant of any errors

Take card payments from customers over the telephone

Respond to phone calls where needed

Record and take postage to post office when required

Helping the Accountant with administrative duties wherever needed
 

Qualifications

Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred.

Proficiency in using computerised systems and software, particularly excel is essential

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

MUST have Bookkeeping experience for at least 2 years

MUST have qualification in AAT

MUST have permission to work in the UK
